the slide of key into lock
one notch at a time
smooth oiled twist
counter clockwise
one two a half
sharp click
of the deadbolt retracting
three fingers on top of the handle
thumb trailing on the underside of the lock
wrist rotates
snaps flex back
bicep shoulders engage, pull
slowly accelerate
and feet flick
left in
then right
fingers move sure through dark
find the switch
